Feb 28, 2020 – Micro-Precision Technologies, Inc., (MPT) a Salem, NH Defense company was acquired by Aerospace Semiconductor, Inc. (ASI) of Lawrence, MA. Going forward the company will operate under the Micro-Precision Technology, Inc. name in Salem, NH with a DBA registered for the Aerospace Semiconductor, Inc. name in Lawrence, MA.

Micro-Precision Technologies, Inc. manufactures custom thick-film ceramic substrates and hybrid microelectronics primarily for Defense, Aerospace and RF/microwave applications for US, Canada and European industries. The ITAR registered company has been in operation since 1987, and currently maintains a MIL-PRF-38534 and ISO-9001:2015 certified manufacturing facility in Salem, NH.

Aerospace Semiconductor, Inc. manufactures custom hybrid microelectronic modules, custom semiconductors, and designs and manufactures drop-in replacements for legacy electronics which are hard to find or no longer commercially available. The company primarily serves the Commercial Aviation, Defense and Oil & Gas markets from their AS9100D certified, ITAR registered manufacturing facility in Lawrence, MA. The company was formed in 2012 to execute an asset purchase of Sanchez Associates, a manufacturer of hybrids since 1982.
